Kelly Abbott is a seasoned tech entrepreneur with two exits (Match.com and Adobe) under his belt. As technical and product lead he has co-founded and run companies in social media, analytics and publishing. Kelly was an investor/partner at SEED San Diego and has been a committed board member/board chair of multiple non-profits (Mama's Kitchen, Partnerships with Industry, and Traveling Stories). Kelly was on the founding board of The Community Information Exchange, which helps non-profits, hospitals and government agencies share information on patient care and track social determinants of health; he also oversaw its acquisition by 2-1-1 San Diego. Kelly currently leads the Data Science for Non-Profits meetup which meets twice a month to help people grow their data science skills and apply them to unmet needs in the community. He grew up playing soccer and writing stories in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated Cum Laude with Distinction in the Liberal Arts from The Ohio State University. Go Bucks!
